I finally found 3 (perhaps 2) essential baby items that I love. My sister helped me locate some really good deals online so lets get crunching to which item made it to my "must get" list.
1- Travel System
Graco - Flip It Reversible Handle Travel System, Emery. Price: $199.00
This stroller has a reversible handle I really like. It is pretty difficult to find one. I guess it might because the car seat is already facing the parent pushing the stroller and once a baby is older, they rather look ahead of them than stare at you so a reversible handle is not an essential feature. Another problem is I am not a big fan of the color and pattern. Other than that, this piece of item isn't so bad.
Evenflo - Aura Select Travel System, Sienna. Price: 159.00
Unfortunately, this doesn't have a reversible handle. However, I just LOVE the color and the design. Moreover, it got 86 reviews and is a 5 star at only $159.00 ! We have just found a winner.
2- Crib
Graco - Ashleigh 4-in-1 Convertible Crib, Cherry. Price: $159.97 
My husband found this deal online. Looking at the price, I thought this is a good deal especially since we checked out all the stores around here and could not find anything we liked less than $300. Furthermore, this color matched the rest of the furniture so initially I decided to stick with this.
AFG - Nadia 3-in-1 Convertible Crib, Cherry. Price: $169.50 
It wasn't until my sister found this bad boy. One look & I felt this one was it. First of all, the display picture looked very relaxing and comforting that I just could not resist falling in love with it. Secondly, it got almost 5 star from 74 customers compared to the Ashleigh which had 4 stars with only 2 customer reviews. And what more could I ask for with such a good design.
3 - Swing
Fisher-Price - Rainforest Open-Top Cradle Swing. Price: $99.00 
I liked the green color and the theme that this swing had going on. Plus it got almost 5 star from 578 reviews and was at a pretty good price. I felt this one had to be the one until my sister found one fatal flaw - it is not meant for newborns.
Fisher-Price - iGlide Cradle n' Swing. Price: $150.00 
When I saw this item, I thought it should cost a bit since it looked pretty elegant. Moreover, my sister pointed out this could easily accommodate a newborn baby and a growing baby at the sametime. The only problem I have with this product is the fact that it is pretty new so I dont really have much feedback on how it is. But how much risky could it be? I will let my husband decide on this one.
